Summary:
Responsible for painting and maintaining plant equipment, fixtures, and building structures as required. Performs various maintenance tasks including carpentry, drywall repair, floor repairs, and other minor repairs as part of the overall upkeep of the facility.

Essential Functions:

• Perform painting of plant equipment, fixtures, and building surfaces as required.
• Conduct general maintenance including carpentry, patching and painting drywall, replacing ceiling tiles, repairing floor tiles, epoxy coating floors, replacing vinyl base molding, and making minor door repairs.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all painting and maintenance equipment.
• Safely operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other required machinery for elevated work.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of painting equipment, ensuring it is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or issues to management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to maintain facility integrity and appearance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial painting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general carpentry, construction, and building maintenance.
• Comfortable working at heights using scissor and boom lifts.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining various painting equipment, including spray systems and other tools.
• Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative maintenance team.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required, including weekends or evening shifts if necessary.
• Must have the ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., non-climate-controlled areas).

Education and Experience:

• Specialized training or certifications in painting or maintenance is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be 18yo or older.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments, including exposure to heat, cold, and humidity.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Shift Details

1st Shift is M-TH, 4 X 10-hour shifts, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm.
