Scope of Job:
As a Senior Program Manager in the Power Business Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with teams across the globe to deliver advanced power conversion solutions that safeguard and enrich the lives of people everywhere. Based on-site in Hackettstown, New Jersey, you will join the Program Management Office (PMO) as a leader in project execution excellence, leveraging your expertise to influence and evolve the procedures used to oversee project development.
The PMO partners directly with our customers to align project requirements, timelines, and deliverables to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Work Preformed:
- Lead cross-functional program teams across the entire development lifecycle, from project conception to production manufacturing
- Construct program timelines in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders and ensure adherence to the schedule through proactive risk management
- Accurately forecast monthly revenue for programs and ensure New Product Introduction (NPI) department has all required material on-hand to deliver results
- Promote “one team” mindset across all departments by proactively engaging internal stakeholders to resolve conflicts and challenges
- Communicate program updates to the executive team on a bi-weekly cadence
- Coach Junior Program Managers in the PMO by providing clear feedback and opportunities for development
Qualifications:
- BS. Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or 8+ years of equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and releasing products to market
- Deep understanding of the Product Development Process (PDP) and a history of successfully releasing new products to market
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) – ability to navigate interpersonal conflicts with ease and de-escalate situations
- Proven leadership experience and a knack for influencing without authority
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility to meet with global team members depending on program need
Salary Range: $125,000-$140,000
