We are looking for a dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to design and implement role-based learning pathways, deliver soft skills training, and embed a strong learning culture across the business. The role requires a strong understanding of both technical and non-technical capability building, tailored to meet the expectations of international clients — especially those in Australia and other global arenas.The L&D Manager will also play a critical role in supporting the People & Culture (P&C) team with coaching interventions and individual development support, helping to elevate performance and potential across the team.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain career-aligned learning journeys across all functions — including engineering, QA, design, Power Platform, PMO, HR, finance, and support. (All technical and non-technical base)
- Create competency matrices and clearly define skill development stages per role.
- Ensure pathways align with evolving expectations from Australian/global markets.
- Identify and deliver soft skills programs covering communication, business writing, collaboration, critical thinking, and leadership readiness.
- Customize training by seniority levels and functional contexts.
- Incorporate global workplace expectations (especially AU culture) into delivery.
- Source, implement, and manage LMS or digital learning platforms.
- Partner with internal SMEs and external providers to run high-impact learning interventions.
- Lead onboarding and continuous learning programs.
- Support People & Culture in creating and tracking Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
- Facilitate 1:1 or group coaching sessions as needed to address performance, communication, or team effectiveness by collaborating with the management.
- Guide team members and managers on personalized development strategies.
- Partner closely with the P&C team to identify learning needs through engagement data, feedback loops, and performance insights.
- Act as a learning advisor to team leads and business unit heads.
- Contribute to culture-building and internal communications around learning.
- Define and report on key L&D metrics: course completion, behavior change, business impact.
- Use feedback and analytics to continuously improve learning offerings.
- Demonstrate and influence the strong learning culture and assist with the completion of learning pathways and company-wide training completion, unit-wise training completion etc.
- Conduct monthly training needs analysis for job roles.
- Assist the customer success and people culture team to achieve all learning requirements.
- Incorporate onboarding and training needs for week 1, 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days requirements based on the job roles.
- Analyse learning styles and structure the general way of creating the platform.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or a related field. Related IT degree (City & Guilds Certification, MCT certified trainer) would be an added advantage.
- Proven experience as an L&D Manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail and professionalism.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in L&D, with exposure to role-based learning, soft skills delivery, and coaching.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and modern learning practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Software/Systems
- Must have: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
- Good to have: Customer relationship skills, outgoing personality.
- Good system knowledge around: ConnectWise, ServiceNow, and other required systems knowledge.
