Your Impact

We’re seeking a motivated, relationship-oriented problem-solver to join our forward-thinking team. As a Professional Services Operations Analyst, your mission is to empower Axon’s Professional Services Organization (PSO) with reliable data, intuitive dashboards, and scalable systems that support operational excellence and a seamless customer deployment experience. You’ll lead high-impact projects that shape how we deploy products, scale teams, and make data-informed decisions—improving key metrics like deployment cycle time, backlog health, and team utilization. This role is ideal for someone scrappy, data-savvy, and ambitious—ready to take ownership in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Location: This role is based in our Axon hub locations - Seattle WA, San Francisco CA, Scottsdale AZ, Denver CO, Atlanta GA or Boston MA
Reports to: Senior Manager, Deployment Operations
Direct Reports: N/A

What You’ll Do:

Project & Systems Support

  • Drive timelines and accountability for process and system improvements.
  • Map data workflows, document business needs, and lead enhancements from discovery through rollout.
  • Own initiatives focused on automation, scalability, and operating model improvements across PSO and adjacent teams.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Aggregate, clean, and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain executive-ready dashboards in Sigma, Power BI, Smartsheet, etc.—leveraging AI to automate workflows.
  • Turn vague, ad-hoc requests into clear, business-ready answers—and uncover insights stakeholders didn’t know to ask for.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Validate and audit core metrics to ensure reporting is trusted and consistent.
  • Trace data issues to their upstream source, document root causes, and recommend long-term fixes.
  • Support governance initiatives that strengthen our data infrastructure, definitions, and usage standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build trusted partnerships with teams across Axon—including Commercial Operations, IT, Finance, Customer Success, and Sales— to align priorities, resolve blockers, and accelerate outcomes.
  • Translate ambiguous questions into clear business problems by listening actively and asking the right questions.
  • Communicate insights clearly and credibly to a range of audiences, adapting your approach to meet the moment.

What You Bring:

Experience

  • 2-3 years in data analytics, operations, or business insights with project ownership
  • Proven ability to problem solve, manage cross-functional initiatives, develop insightful dashboards, and drive process improvements

Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency in Excel is required. Experience with SQL or Python is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Sigma, or Smartsheet for dashboarding and workflow management.
  • Comfort and enthusiasm in using AI-powered tools.
  • Ability to build executive-ready dashboards and synthesize multi-source data into actionable insights.

  • Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 66,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 105,600 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
