Operation Supervisor - Port Dickson

To assist and arrange shipping Operations with day-to-day activities as per operational requirement to client’s full satisfaction and co-ordinate with operation supervisors / Trainees to have a timely and smooth arrangements.   

Main work location: Port Dickson.

Also supports: Melaka & Port Klang

Job Description

1. Vessel clearance (arrival & departure) - Timely.

• Co-ordinating with Operation Supervisors/ Trainees for the timely arrangement of vessel's clearance.

2.  Documentation

• Follow shipping process and guidance/direction from superiors to prepare and process documentation timely and without error.

3. Reporting

• Timely reporting of daily activities / reports to the clients / superiors.

• Adaptation of GAC Agents/ GACship and client system like Da-Desk, Diabos etc.

4. Updating of Port information

• Collection and updating of Port information on regular basis

5. Contactable at all times

• To be available as and when required

6. OTHERS

• Carry out all additional task and assignment as directed by manager HOD, and the Management team.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Maritime

Management or a related field with

• Minimum 3 years experience in similar position.

• Strong knowledge in local Marine/ Immigration & Custom Regulations

• Good English & Bahasa Malaysia communication skills (both written & spoken)
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Posses own transport
