Comcast’s Consumer Research & Insights team provides market research support across Comcast’s divisions and product lines. The team executes a range of quantitative and qualitative projects to support strategic decision-making and enhance the customer experience.
We are seeking a Senior Market Research & Insights Analyst with 5–7 years of experience for a full-time contractor role based in Philadelphia. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned analyst who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings advanced analytical capabilities, and is comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders.
This role requires working Eastern Time hours and being in the Philadelphia office at least 4 days per week.
The ideal candidate is experienced, resilient, analytically sharp, and confident managing complex work streams. You will play a critical role in delivering high-impact research and insights to senior decision-makers, using advanced quantitative techniques and structured storytelling.
Responsibilities
Lead research work streams end-to end, including vendor coordination, stakeholder management, and deliverables
Analyze large-scale quantitative datasets using more than just descriptive statistics (e.g., regression, segmentation, or other inferential methods)
Manage the flow of data from multiple internal/external sources, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights
Develop advanced survey instruments in collaboration with stakeholders; ensure methodological rigor and data quality
Translate complex findings into compelling, visual PowerPoint decks and written summaries for senior leadership
Provide regular project updates, synthesize insights, and make strategic recommendations
Ensure project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Requirements
5–7 years of experience in market research, analytics, or insights ideally in a fast-paced agency, consulting, or client-side setting
Strong background in quantitative research and statistical analysis
Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and at least one statistical platform (e.g., SPSS, R, Python)
Experience with survey design and platforms such as Decipher, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or Suzy
Familiarity with advanced techniques like regression, MaxDiff, or Conjoint is a strong plus
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field from a top-tier institution
Must be based in Philadelphia and able to be on-site at least 4 days/week
