Are you ready to step into a leadership role where your voice, experience, and ideas shape the learning journey of young children? Busy Bees at Lara is looking for a dedicated and passionate Lead Educator to join our team full-time and help drive excellence in early childhood education.

About the Role

• Take the lead in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs based on the EYLF

• Mentor and support other educators within your room and collaborate across the centre

• Build strong, respectful relationships with families and children

• Maintain documentation, learning portfolios, and compliance records

• Work closely with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to uphold high standards of care and education

• Contribute to a culture of reflection, innovation, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Need

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Diploma-qualified educator

• VIC Working with Children Check (Employee)

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates

• Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training

• A strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and early childhood frameworks

• Confidence in leading a room and mentoring others

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
