Responsibilities: • Provide strategic direction and oversight of the Corporate Finance function in alignment with Oaktree’s goals and objectives • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Corporate Finance processes, leveraging technology and best practices • Develop financial projections, coordinate and implement the firmwide budgeting process, analyze investment group profitability, prepare revenue, expense and non-GAAP metric reporting for senior management and Brookfield and address a range of ad hoc requests • Develop and implement methodology to transition work from global locations to Hyderabad • Lead and manage large-scale projects, including system implementations and process transformations, ensuring timely and successful delivery • Provide direction to the Corporate Finance team, set priorities, and ensure staff are aware of critical deadlines or changes in policy or procedures • Provides leadership in developing budgets, forecasting financial performance and analyzing variances, collaborating with various business functions to ensure alignment of financial objectives • Sound competency in analyzing financial data, pPreparering and oversight oversee the preparation of financial reports and analyses that , provideing insights to support strategic decisions and overall business success • Sound knowledge and ability to leverage various financial modelling tools to analyze financial data and make projections, understanding financial statements, accounting principles and financial ratios • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Corporate Finance processes, leveraging technology and best practices • Ensure Corporate Finance staff executes all assignments in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA'sS) • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and other regulatory requirements, and proactively manage financial risks • Proactively identifyies potential work bottlenecks or peaks in work volume and identifies plans to ensure the team is able to meet agreed upon deadlines • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for Corporate Finance initiatives • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Corporate Finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration and professional development • Encourage and drive innovation within the Corporate Finance function, exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve financial reporting and analysis • Coordinate and collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency and standardization of Corporate Function reporting across regions • Review, provide input, and sign off on Corporate Finance Standard Operating and Desktop procedures documented by the team • Participate in special projects as required by the Hyderabad leadership team including initiatives and priorities related to upskilling, employee engagement etc. • Recruit, develop, assess and manage Corporate Finance team in Hyderabad Competencies required: • Strong knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, Risk management, Reporting required • Previous experience working at a BIG 4 firm or multinational company with ability to analyze financial data and financial reports • Strong knowledge of financial modeling is required • Experience implementing and managing ERP systems highly desired • Understanding of global finance operations and the ability to coordinate and collaborate across regions • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Corporate Finance function. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues proactively • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
