The Deloitte Ireland Aspire Programme, launched in 2020, supports professionals in the international protection process and under temporary protection to secure employment opportunities and develop their career in Ireland.  

Deloitte partners with the Irish Refugee Council, Business in the Community Ireland, Open Doors, Nasc and DLA Piper to offer a 6 month work placement across our business. During the 6-month period, participants are supported to deliver impactful work on client and internal projects and gain experience within the Irish market. You will also partake in coaching to explore career growth areas and join our community to build a network. 

This 6-month work placement programme will begin with Deloitte Ireland in Dublin from September 2025. Successful candidates will be paid for duration of the internship.

Our Deloitte Delivery Centre (DDC) in Cork plays a vital role in our Irish Audit & Assurance business. The centre offers a range of centralised support services to Deloitte’s auditors and is set to grow considerably in the next few years.   

There are two types of work placement opportunities in the DDC team. Please specify in your 100 words of your application, which of the below you are interested in. 

  • DDC Administrator  

  • Investment Management COE. 

 

DCC Administrator  

What you will be doing: 

  • The DDC supports engagement teams with audit and administrative tasks to reduce practitioners' administrative burden and improve efficiency while maintaining quality standards. 

  • The core objective is to deliver services appropriately, leveraging modern communication techniques and flexible/remote team working to differentiate Deloitte from competitors and ensure a high-quality client experience. 

  • Team members will become proficient in DDC services, develop best practices, and play a key role in delivering high-quality service to clients, supported by the Deloitte Aspire programmes for technical and soft skills development. 

  • Primary responsibilities include ongoing and ad hoc project support, preparation and acquisition of audit evidence letters, and preparation of branded, proofread, and formatted reports and documents. 

  • Additional tasks involve assisting with audit-specific administrative tasks, organising meetings, drafting agendas, and minute taking, with responsibilities evolving as the DDC becomes fully embedded within the Audit service line. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Entry level experience in an administration role in a professional environment  

  • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills 

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal 

  • Excellent attention to detail 

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

  • Multi-tasking  

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines 

  • Team player who is able to demonstrate flexibility where required 

 

Investment Management CoE 

What you will be doing: 

  • The Investment Management CoE supports audit teams with administration and analytical tasks to reduce practitioner burden. 

  • It promotes efficient working practices while maintaining and improving quality standards. 

  • The aim is to deliver services appropriately, using the right people and modern communication techniques. 

  • The IM CoE helps differentiate Deloitte from competitors and ensures a high-quality client experience. 

  • Team members will develop proficiency in IM CoE services and best practices, enhancing both technical and soft skills. 

  • IM Administrators have primary responsibilities that will evolve as the CoE integrates into the Audit service line. 

 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Proficiency in audit administration and analytical tasks. 

  • Strong understanding of efficient working practices and quality standards. 

  • Ability to utilise modern communication techniques and flexible/remote team working. 

  • Capability to deliver high-quality, distinctive client experiences. 

  • Development of both technical and soft skills through Deloitte Aspire programmes. 

  • Adaptability to evolving responsibilities as the CoE integrates into the Audit service line.
