Purpose:

The Merchandising Transformation Process Lead will serve as a representative of the business organization for a multi-year merchandising and financial transformation (ERP implementation). This role combines process leadership with program management responsibilities, ensuring that the ERP program is executed effectively across all phases—from design and development through testing, training, and implementation. As a central liaison between the business and the ERP project team, IT, and consultants, Process Lead will support stakeholder readiness and adoption. This role supports the ERP team in ensuring that change management, training, and testing efforts are properly integrated and executed, including helping with communication planning, scheduling coordination, and task tracking.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling skills; ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build strong partnerships across teams
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Self-starter with high accountability and follow-through
  • Experience working with ERP systems or in cross-functional project environments a plus
  • Experience in change management, user training, or business process transformation a plus
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence) a plus
  • Must pass pre-employment background check

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with ERP program leads, Deloitte Organizational Change Management (OCM) team, and business stakeholders (e.g., Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain) to support change management and business readiness efforts across F&D and other business areas
  • Own and manage OCM activities on the F&D workplan, including communications, engagement, and training logistics, ensuring alignment with overall ERP milestones and program goals
  • Develop, review, and tailor communications content—leveraging Deloitte materials and creating F&D- specific messaging for leadership, FAQs, and business enablement activities
  • Facilitate business enablement meetings, manage agendas, logistics, and follow-up communications, and maintain communication channels including SharePoint and distribution lists
  • Serve as a primary liaison between Deloitte OCM, business process owners, and corporate communications teams to coordinate change activities and ensure stakeholder engagement
  • Coordinate training efforts by managing content reviews, role-to-position mapping, scheduling, delivery logistics, and collaborating with Learning & Development to support training evaluation and continuous improvement
  • Support process documentation, future state development, and business practice standardization in collaboration with ERP and business teams
  • Assist with data validation, cleanup, and transition planning alongside technical and functional teams to ensure business readiness
  • Monitor and help escalate OCM-related risks, dependencies, and impediments, and communicate business challenges, system landscape insights, and change impacts to appropriate stakeholders
  • Represent business teams in cross-functional meetings by providing updates, surfacing concerns, and promoting user readiness and adoption
  • Assist with various special projects that may be identified

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

Sedentary Work: Ability to exert up to 10–20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. This role primarily involves sitting, though brief periods of walking or standing may be required.
