What are we looking for?
State Street Alpha Service product team is seeking a versatile individual in a Vice President role with strong product development, product life cycle management, client relationship, and business analysis skills for the development and support of services and product offerings within the Account Services- Account /Portfolio Onboarding data (Portfolio or Account Reference data) and life cycle management area. This qualified individual will develop and deliver products, business solutions, and strategies aligned with our Alpha Account onboarding and data integration with downstream consumers. This leader will focus on understanding current models and drive the solutions to onboard clients on strategic and standardized product and services model driving front, middle, and back-office service innovations that support and streamline end-to-end integration, servicing, and interoperability for our Alpha clients.

The successful candidate must be skilled in analyzing our complex business service flows across front, middle, and back office operating models for our Alpha Clients, with a focus on post-trade execution lifecycle products and services. They will also be driving strategic solution design, business architecture, and business solutions/services while driving program/project execution and reporting.
What will you be responsible for?
- Participate in strategic initiatives and special projects to enhance Alpha’s product offerings and client experience.
- Analyze and document business requirements, system capabilities, and process flows to support solution design and implementation.
- Ensure data flows are accurate, timely, and scalable across systems, supporting automation and interoperability.
- Lead Agile product development efforts, from ideation through delivery, with a focus on continuous improvement and user-centric design.
- Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable product requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Technology, and other Product groups—to deliver integrated, client-facing solutions.
- Define and drive the product strategy for account/portfolio onboarding and reference data services, ensuring alignment with client needs and Alpha’s strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
As a Product Manager within the Alpha Services team, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, real-time solutions for account and portfolio reference data. Your focus will be on ensuring seamless integration with downstream consumers across front, middle, and back-office functions.

- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in an Agile environment, with a track record of delivering data-driven solutions.
- Deep expertise in account and portfolio reference data across the investment lifecycle, including asset management, wealth management, and alternatives.
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis, Operations, or Product management in Financial service Industry
- Preferred experience with portfolio reference data, including an understanding of its downstream impact and associated workflows
- Ability to write SQL code and analyze large data sets
Salary Range:
$130,000 - $212,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
