As GIS Hosting Manager, you will lead a team of infrastructure experts responsible for our core hosting environments, spanning data centres, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to evolve our hybrid infrastructure strategy, improve service performance, and ensure we’re fully compliant with global standards and GxP requirements.
This is more than a technical management role - it’s a chance to own and lead the systems that keep a fast-growing global business running. You will influence architecture at scale, shape our future platforms, and bring fresh thinking to an ambitious and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coach a team of 7 infrastructure experts (mix of internal and offshore)
Build and execute the roadmap for Galderma’s global data centre, platform, and cloud strategy
Act as a key advisor and deputy to the Senior Manager of Hosting, Cloud & Security
Ensure compliance with GxP pharma regulations and enterprise IT standards
Work cross-functionally with architects, engineers, and stakeholders across global regions
Serve as the final escalation point (L3/3+) for infrastructure incidents and issues
Play a central role in defining our hybrid infrastructure strategy for the next 3–5 years
Skills and qualifications:
10+ years' experience in IT
Broad technical expertise of IT infrastructure, Virtualization, Storage, IT Security, IT Architecture, Cloud Engineering etc.
3 years of leadership responsibilities
Demonstrated experience in both planning and successful execution roles in complex environments
Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT engineering groups in complex and dynamic environments
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience
IT Infrastructure technology certifications preferred
Project management certifications preferred
A pharma industry experience / knowledge of GxP regulated environments a plus
