(SFO) Quality Control Technician

What to Expect:

The Quality Control (QC) Technician will work to complete all fuel-dispensing equipment inspections in accordance with Air Transport Association (ATA) Spec 103 and UGE Fuel Operations Manual (FOM). Inspection work will primarily include monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections. This role will also oversee the Lead Agents conducting daily and weekly inspections. The role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining records in compliance with ATA Spec 103, UGE FOM, and Airline-specific requirements.

How you will make an impact: 

  • Complete comprehensive quality control audits, inspections, and technical assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Maintain complete, accurate maintenance and compliance records
  • Provide timely guidance and feedback to support lead quality control agents
  • Provide training and coaching on quality control policies & procedures
  • Travel to other Into Plane (ITP) locations to assist with QC training to other QC technicians or attend training and/or development seminars
  • Other duties as assigned 

What you will bring: 

Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:  

  • 2+ years of quality control inspection experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Proficient understanding of ATA Spec 103 Equipment Requirements and Checks
  • Understanding of ITP fueling operational procedures
  • Strong technical understanding of fuel dispensing ground equipment (e.g., hydrant carts/trucks, tanker trucks)
  • Prior aircraft fueling experience
  • Technical operations
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Leadership and team management
  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record required

  Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills:  

  • Certifications on QC training from any of the following organizations/manufacturers preferred: NATA, Gammon, Becker, Cla-Val, Carter/Eaton, Beta, SkyMark

Base Salary range:  (L7)
