Order Fulfillment (38257)

Position Overview:

Order Fulfillment will be responsible for accurately completing tasks essential to the movement of product through our distribution center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

• Pick and Pack product for outbound customer orders
• Run packing station
• Receiving and processing of inbound shipments from vendors and /or returned orders from customers
• Inventory Control tasks such as cycle-counting, replenishment of on-hand inventory and participation in periodic physical inventories
• Support the operational activity of other product lines or companies as necessary
• Loading/Unloading of shipping containers, trailers, etc. as necessary
• Minimal clerical duties may be required

RELATED DUTIES:  

• Performs other duties, as assigned
• Safe operation of forklift and hand trucks equipment; certification preferred
• Occasional shipping

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Training and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years previous pick/pack/ship experience in a warehouse environment required; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

• Knowledge of basic PC skills and ability to type at a reasonable pace
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
• Ability to be a self-starter, follow-through and have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The position requires the ability to stand, stoop, bend, and walk frequently during the shift, up to 8 hours; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves.  Incumbent needs to consistently be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions

Manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.
