We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Canterbury finance team as an Accounts Administrator. This role is part of the wider finance team providing support to our contracting business units.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, supporting accounts payable, and helping manage our financial records. Your keen attention to detail and proactive approach will help us deliver a quality experience for our staff, suppliers, and customers.
 

In addition to the above you will: 

  • Generate and distribute invoices to our customers and resolve any queries promptly and professionally.
  • Enter and maintain accurate financial data, including month-end reconciliations.
  • Support accounts payable, vendor setup, and customer credit checks.

We’re looking for someone with:  

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an account’s administration role or similar.
  • Competent user of the Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data input.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Alignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & Leadership
  • Previous JDE experience is advantageous.
