OUR ENVIRONMENT

A major part of Remedy’s server infrastructure is a mix of virtualized Ubuntu Linux and Windows servers on the vSphere platform. Utilizing dynamically routed BGP networks built upon technologies from Cisco, Ruckus, and Palo Alto Networks, we ensure that information will flow efficiently and securely between systems. Most of our network hosts, including workstations, run in dual-stack IPv4/IPv6. Our Zabbix monitoring system ensures that we keep track of all the servers and other IT infrastructure equipment we are responsible for.

We use several different storage platforms from traditional block storage systems to NAS systems. This includes systems built with Fibre Channel (FC), and iSCSI SANs. These solutions enable us to handle the amount of data flowing between systems generated through game development. We aim to orchestrate the setting up of our infrastructure and services. Ansible is used for the installation of servers & services, for workstation and endpoint management - we are transitioning to use Intune from SCCM. VMware Horizon helps us to provide VDI for remote/hybrid work to our globally dispersed user base. A hybrid on-prem AD/Entra user directory is integrated with our business applications and is utilized for IAM and user & access management.

On top of the infrastructure, we run commercial applications such as Perforce Helix, GitLab and TeamCity for source control and to manage the CI/CD pipeline of ~100 build farm agents.

We value close collaboration with other teams, both digital and face-to-face. Digital teamwork we achieve with solutions like Slack, Jira, Confluence & M365. With these solutions, we enable our precious ‘customers’, the game development teams, to be productive in their creative endeavors.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • At Remedy, you get to work on awesome, memorable gaming experiences for our players in a studio where your input is valued, and being creative is encouraged.
  • We offer a collaborative environment that values both individual and teamwork, ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard and workloads stay manageable. We believe in and support work-life balance — happy people work better.
  • We offer an extensive set of employee benefits and an annual bonus system as well as opportunities for you to develop your skills further. On top of this, in Finland you get up to 5 weeks of paid vacation, in addition to public holidays and other special occasions.
  • We have two offices, one in Finland, in the Helsinki metropolitan area, and one in Stockholm, Sweden. Both locations are well known for their exceptional quality of life, free education and pristine nature at your doorstep. This role is for our office in Espoo, Finland.

To apply, please fill in the application form with your CV (in English), and other information relevant to the position. This position will be filled as soon as suitable applicants are found.
