The Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist a male NDIS participant living in the Dural area. This role focuses on mental health recovery, physical wellbeing, and community engagement. It’s ideal for someone with experience supporting clients with psychosocial disabilities and an interest in promoting healthy routines and lifestyle habits.

Key Responsibilities

• Support with emotional regulation and confidence building
• Promote physical health through encouragement of movement, walks, and gym attendance
• Community access and transport to local activities
• Foster routine, structure, and goal-setting in line with the client's care plan
• Build trust through consistent and respectful engagement

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting clients with psychosocial disabilities (e.g. Schizophrenia, depression, anxiety)
• Calm, consistent and empathetic approach to care
• Proven ability to support independence and skill development
• Clear communication skills and confidence in following support plans
• Ability to motivate and support clients in building healthier routines

Essential Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Full working rights in Australia
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
