<strong>At Axians, we value talent, not labels. </strong><br /> We believe in a culture of inclusion, where everyone has a place and all applications are considered based on merit, without discrimination. <br /> This is your opportunity to join an international group with a project that needs you to help meet the challenges of digital transformation. <br /> At the same time, you are guaranteed to balance your work and family life, with premium benefits, stability and personal recognition. <br /> <br /> <strong>💻 THE ROLE</strong><br /> We are looking for a #TechTalent to take on the role of <strong>Android Native Engineer </strong>for a project in the <strong>logistics sector</strong>.<br />  <br /> <strong>🙂 RESPONSIBILITIES</strong> <ul> <li>Contribute to the development of high quality, reliable, fast, scalable and responsive software;</li> <li>Maintain and improve different mobile applications within the company scope;</li> <li>Ability to code following different architectural design patterns;</li> <li>Writing testable code and ensuring the test coverage stays at the agreed level;</li> <li>Be committed and contribute to maintain and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment;</li> <li>Show a constant interest in learning new things and try proof of concepts towards to improve the products and the technology strategy inside the company;</li> <li>Be a mentor for other engineers and work in multidisciplinary teams along with other talented professionals such as developers, analysts, testers, in an agile-minded environment.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>💡 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</strong> <ul> <li>Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, computer electronics or a related field;</li> <li>Proven experience (5+ years) working as a native Android developer with Java and Kotlin languages;</li> <li>Solid understanding of modern mobile app architectures (MVC, MVP, MVVM), Gradle &amp; Maven dependencies, Unit Testing (Espresso, Roboeletric, Mockito or similar) and Instrumentation testing (JUnit);</li> <li>Proven MAD (Modern Android Development) skills are strongly appreciated: Jetpack framework (Compose, Room, etc.), Dependency Injection (Dagger 2 &amp; Hilt), Retrofit, Kotlin Coroutines and Flows;</li> <li>Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services, code versioning tools (GIT) and CI/CD processes/tools;</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions;</li> <li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile-minded environment;</li> <li>Strong attention to detail, good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus are highly appreciated;</li> <li>A self-driven and proactive attitude, with a passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends;</li> <li>Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team;</li> <li>The candidate should be fluent in English, ability to speak German it’s a plus.</li> </ul> <strong>⭐ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US </strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Opportunity to lead major projects </strong><br /> By leading projects for an international Axians customer, you can make your mark in the IT world. <br />  <br /> <strong>Recognition as a professional and as a person </strong><br /> For Axians, the professionals who lead customer projects have a name and a face and are therefore recognized by the company. <br />  <br /> <strong>Work Life Balance and premium benefits</strong> <br /> Axians values the family life of its employees by giving 5 days beyond those legally provided after the birth of children.
