The Role:

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded sales driven professional ready to take the next step in their career and manage our Distributor & Wholesale business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, exceptional relationship-building skills and a thorough understanding of the FMCG environment.

Accountabilities:

Internal

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for key wholesale partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

  • Update and deliver monthly sales forecasts meetings indicating risks and opportunities to the Head of UK & Europe Distributor and Ecommerce Sales.

  • Lead negotiations for contracts, trading terms and annual joint business plans to drive profitability and sustainable growth.

  • Delivery of agreed sales and profit targets.

  • Manage trade spend effectively, ensuring to build brands in market.

  • Monthly trade spend meetings to ensure effective P&L management and spend allocation and alignment.

  • Manage promotional planning along with the marketing and finance team to ensure all guidelines are met.

  • Oversee the supply chain within the account through monthly forecasting meetings

  • Management of the stock clearance process to support operational efficiency through cash flow improvement.

  • Participation in key business meetings such as forecast validation, NPD and brand meetings, presenting a review of account performance to identify challenges and opportunities

  • Deliver annual brand days with key account partners in person and digitally.

  • Manage the wholesale team to drive performance through others across the total customer base.

External

  • Conduct the relevant business review meeting cadence with all key wholesale partners to ensure alignment on objectives and performance.

  • Drive profitable EPOS sales, building brands appropriately

  • Develop strong networks and partnerships across all relevant teams

  • Ensure consistent best in class approach

  • Collaborative creation and delivery of JBPs

  • Review sell out performance and take appropriate action as required

  • Support and review launch NPD through maximisation of the promotional plans.

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal

  • Highly operational

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Strong negotiation experience
