Job Responsibilities

  • Obtain a holistic view on luxury travel scene, and to establish a leadership position in the market for Marina Bay Sands

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key and target accounts suited for overall Luxury suites/ premier rooms sales of the luxury market

  • Identify opportunities & organize activities that will stimulate growth of existing accounts and establish new accounts

  • Represent Marina Bay Sands in Sales trips and industry related meetings and appropriate events with the luxury market segment.

  • Responsible to review ROI for Sales trip leads and keeping information up to date

  • Monitors competitors’ activities and assist in marketing intelligence.

  • Engage with luxury guests and customers within the hotel, at client events, industry gatherings and other social functions.

  • Develop and maintain strong relations with internal departments, stakeholders who support and service the luxury segment within Sands group.

  • Work closely with various departments to ensure quality service delivery and concept to improve customer experience and maximize revenue and profit.

  • Manage any complaints that arise from bookings made by luxury agents

  • Management of luxury database

  • Travel when required to promote the hotel and develop potential business in other market.

  • Any other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Luxury Travel or the management.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • College/ degree in Hotel Management, Marketing or Business Administration preferred

Experience

  • Experience in Hotel or Sales preferred, but not mandatory

Other Prerequisites

  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Possess excellent organizational skills to able to multi-task

  • Possess excellent public speaking skills and maintain a professional image and enthusiastic attitude at all times

  • Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from luxury agents

  • Get along with fellow Team Members and work as a team

  • Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies

  • Have a well-groomed, professional appearance
