We are seeking a reliable and service-driven Tier 1 Helpdesk Technician to support our healthcare staff with day-to-day technical needs. In this frontline IT support role, you'll be assisting providers and administrative users with troubleshooting systems that are vital to patient care and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards. This role is essential in ensuring uptime and efficient use of clinical and administrative systems across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to healthcare staff via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, printers, EMR/EHR systems, and basic networking.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions using a ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex problems in a timely manner.
  • Assist with user onboarding, workstation setup, and account provisioning in a Microsoft environment.
  • Update and maintain internal Knowledge Base articles, especially for healthcare specific applications and workflows.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect sensitive healthcare data during all IT support interactions.
  • Follow up with users to confirm resolution and gather feedback.
  • Update, track, maintain, assign company assets to ensure accurate records, efficient utilization, and proper accountability.

Must Have'S:

Active driver's license - must have maintained for 2 years or longer.

Clean driving record - limit of 2 citations in past 36 months; DUI and other serious offenses may disqualify candidacy.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be 19 years or older
