Job Description - ExternalResponsibilities and Key Roles
Core Architecture Translation:
- Translate business requirements into final technical solutions, including platform, network, software, and cloud.
- Perform functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques, primarily through software development across the vertical stack.
- Define designs and provide technical enablement for application components and subsystems for an SPP/NEAM.
- Drive important design decisions for the development team.
Design and Interfaces:
- Elaborate the design and interfaces for specific components.
- Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with the solution context.
- Align development teams to a shared technical direction and validate technology assumptions.
- Evaluate implementation alternatives and establish critical Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) at the solution level.
Continuous Delivery Pipeline:
- Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the system solution and explore alternatives.
- Develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business features and capabilities.
- Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers.
- Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, and retrospective workshops.
- Understand technical characteristics and assist with the architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms.
Network Performance and Efficiency:
- Optimize BVoIP network performance and efficiency.
- Collect, analyze, and report on network data using SQL, Object-Oriented (OO) methodology, and other tools.
- Assist in BVoIP network provisioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, store, and process network data from various sources using SQL and other tools.
- Analyze network data using statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and issues.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present network data and insights to stakeholders.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with network engineers, technicians, and managers to support network operations and projects.
- Document and update network data analysis processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in a network or telecommunications environment.
- Skills:
- Proficient in SQL and OO methodology (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
- Familiar with network concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS).
- Experience with network data analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Splunk, Tableau).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
