We are now receiving applications for a Development Manager, to join our dynamic FMH team
With support from across the team you will engage in face-to-face meetings with donors, alumni, and friends of the University to build and maintain strong relationships. You will collaborate closely with academics and faculty staff and will identify and develop philanthropic opportunities that align with the University and Faculty Strategy. Additionally, you will work alongside the Senior Associate Director of Development to support faculty leadership and collaborate with the broader team, providing knowledge and expertise to support their work on engineering-related opportunities

Has solid experience in major gifts fundraising
Can identify, cultivate and negotiate $100,000 plus gift opportunities
Experience working with academics and key senior stakeholders with briefings and guidance on philanthropic opportunities
Displays a strong track record of achievement and meeting financial targets
Has experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Can work autonomously but also is comfortable speaking up and asking for help
Demonstrates relationship building and strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior internal and external stakeholders
Has highly developed emotional intelligence – you are self-aware with exceptional interpersonal skills
Is a high-achiever and naturally driven by success both professionally and personally
Has excellent time-management, prioritisation and organisation skills.
Holds a passion for medicine and health
