Event Manager InterContinental Sydney

Reporting to the Director of Event & Conference sales, as Events Manager you’ll make sure all our client meetings and events run smoothly - acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner.  

This role is responsible for forecasting and reporting as required from IHG, the owning company or by the Executive team. This role is also responsible for the operational delivery whilst the event is onsite by working with the Food & Beverage and Event services team to ensure a seamless branded experience.

The Events Manager will be responsible for the event planner teams to drive return business, up selling, directing and overseeing all aspects of the Conference Services and Catering department including operational activities in order to drive optimal total revenue generation for the hotel to achieve financial results for the department and guest satisfaction.
