ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for experienced Hotel Housekeepers who are passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests to join our Housekeeping Team at Caesars New Orleans! If you have the skills to provide friendly outstanding hospitality and a spotless environment for every guest every time, apply today!
MORE SPECIFICALLY YOU WILL:
Ensure guests have a welcoming and comfortable hotel stay
Gather special preferences from guests and log into the system to personalize future return visits
Clean rooms during assigned shift including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpet and cleaning bathrooms
Maintain an upbeat and positive demeanor in all interactions as well as maintaining composure in handling difficult interactions
Change bed linen, dust all surfaces, vacuum, remove trash and dirty linens.
Replenish all guest amenities including tissue, shower products, coffee, condiments, cups and glassware.
Ensure all guest amenities are in good condition and placed according to standard.
Load attendant carts with supplies and keep linen closet clean and organized.
Complete each room checklist in a timely and efficient manner.
Familiar with proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Follow safety, security and OSHA guidelines properly.
Handle any BBP, Bio-Hazard linens according to procedures.
Report any maintenance issue to supervisor.
Proper handling of lost/found articles.
Comply with Louisiana Gaming Commission Regulations and procedures
Comply with company regulations, policies, and procedures
Act as a role model to other team member and always presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same
Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work at a casino hotel
At least 3 years of Housekeeping experience preferred.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English to provide personalized service to guests.
Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending on identified needs of the company
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals
Must be able to use elevators and stairs frequently and work in a high-rise hotel
Must be able to push and pull 150-pound carts
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Frequent pushing, pulling, bending and walking.
May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise and bright lights.
Ability to use cleaning products in a safe manner.
Ability to work as part of a team in an efficient manner.
Ability to work under time pressure in a disruptive environment.
High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred.
