Job Description

We are looking for a Electronic Engineer, with automotive background.
You will be member of the EE Architecture Team of the Applus IDIADA Group, working from client facilities, located in Martorell.

Your mission will be the cooperation with the rest of the Airbag ECU validation team to assure the validation of Airbag ECU at system and vehicle level, cooperating during the test, contacting with the rest of consortium departments and the component supplier as well. You will be:

• Responsible of Airbag ECU component.
• Reporting of Airbag ECU development status.
• You will have direct contact with client and Airbag ECU suppliers.
• Cooperate on the definition Airbag electronic systems for future vehicle projects.
• Release of Airbag ECU components in consortium platforms.

Your main responsibilities (shared with the rest of the Airbag Validation team, will be to give support the following areas, guaranteeing de methodology and traceability:

• ECU Airbag Test and validation.
• Validate Airbag ECUs in Test Bench and Test Vehicle following a Test Catalog.
• Validate Airbag ECU parametrization files (ZDCs) and codifications.
• Develop new Airbag Tests and improvement of validation process.

Additional valued competences:

• Should have 1 year minimum in Automotive Projects
• With experience defining test cases following V-Model
• Derive and allocate requirements for Hardware, software, sensors, actuators, etc…
• Able to cross check vehicle, system requirements and test results.
• Experience using Automotive testing tools like VECTOR (CANCases / CANoe/ etc.)
• Experience with Tools (ODIS, SYS42, CPTOOL, etc.)
• Analysis and report of errors found in validation process to Client platform.
• Ensure the correct behavior of Airbag ECU in final vehicle.
• Able to report and tracking of daily activities to client.
• Required driving license B.
• Excellent team-working, organization, communication & networking skills
• Introduction of new SW/HW with VW and Airbag ECU suppliers.
• Attend design & management reviews.

• Electric & Electronic Engineer

Languages

• Fluent English (verbally and in writing) and good documentation skills
• German will be also highly valuated.
