As Senior Campaign Manager, you’ll be integral to the delivery of Virgin Media O2’s consumer-facing communications. You’ll be a confident communicator yourself, adept at getting the best out agencies as well as navigating the nuances of internal stakeholding and external vendor relationships. You’ll have an instinctive business acumen, with a keen sense of what messages might resonate best with consumers in order to drive business performance. And you’ll be at the forefront of driving and delivering disruptive and effective brand campaigns that bring our brand to life for consumers. 

 

You’ll need to show proven experience leading and managing through-the-line campaigns, whether from an agency or a brand side. You’ll have a true understanding of the communications funnel and the role of channels within this. With impressive experience in (but not limited to) ATL campaigns, activation, and experiential, your conceptual and strategic thinking, plus strong project management skills will be an asset on every project you touch. You’ll have the chance to tackle nationwide multi-million pound campaigns and bring your enthusiasm to work on the smaller projects too.

 

On the campaigns assigned to you, you will have full ownership and will be a key point of contact within the wider VMO2 business and with the agencies you interact with. As such, you will be critical to the project management process, working closely and collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver plans that meet the agreed KPIs.

The must haves
  • Several years of experience working in an advertising or marketing function, either agency-side or brand-side; or you have worked in the creative services.
  • A strong understanding of ATL and digital media – particularly TV (incl. CTV, AVOD, BVOD, SVOD), OOH, Press, Radio, Social, Online video and PPC. Our work spans the entirety of the media ecosystem, and we are constantly trialling new channels and partners.
  • An understanding of BTL and direct marketing activity is a plus, with an emphasis on customer communications such as email and SMS and how they supports wider ATL activity. 
  • Experienced in managing multiple stakeholders and multiple projects at any one time, organisational and project management experience is essential.
The other stuff we are looking for
  • Creative and media agency management experience and know how to inspire the best possible performance from them.
  • A university degree (which may or may not be marketing-related), and/or marketing & media qualifications is preferable, but not mandatory.
