A Day in the Life

As a vital member of our Shipping Team in the warehouse, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of life-changing medical technologies to patients worldwide. The Area Coordinator plays a key role in managing and coordinating logistics operations across multiple sites or hubs within a designated region. This position ensures that operations run efficiently, safely, and in line with company policies and customer expectations. The Area Coordinator acts as the link between regional management and local teams, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and strong team performance.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Oversee daily logistics and transportation activities across assigned locations
• Coordinate scheduling, routing, and delivery activities to ensure timely service and cost efficiency
• Monitor performance metrics (e.g., delivery times, cost per shipment, service levels) and report on operational KPIs
• Use SAP system to track and confirm shipments
• Ensure all outbound medical devices, are handled and shipped with the highest level of care.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transport and warehousing
• Basic computer literacy and experience with SAP
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 kg and operate basic warehouse tools
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics (1 year minimum preferred)
• Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands and pass background verification.

Experience with medical device shipping, especially for high-value or regulated goods, is a plus. Familiarity with global shipping procedures or cold chain logistics will also be advantageous.
