The Facilities Maintenance lead will, based on experience, training and demonstrated expertise, manage, coordinate or lead in the absence of the Facilities Supervisor in the following areas: 1) Plant Operation, Maintenance, Plumbing; 2) HVAC, Building Automation System and Computer Maintenance System; 3) HVAC and refrigeration; 4) Electrical System and Related equipment; and 5) Department relocations, moves and construction projects and work closely with contractors, Environmental, Facilities and Plant Maintenance/Services staff. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist Lead is expected to work with minimum supervision and serve as a trainer for Facilities Maintenance Specialists.

High school diploma and completion of a vocational diploma in a mechanical field. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer skills.BS or Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, HVAC or industrial technology preferred.
