The People Analytics Partner is the driving force behind the development and execution of The Lottery Corporation’s People and Culture data framework. This role leads the strategic enablement of data-led decision making across the organisation by ensuring people data Is accurate, secure, and commercially relevant. Through deep collaboration with stakeholders, the role champions a culture of insight driven leadership, embedding analytics into the rhythm of business and elevating the value of people data in shaping organisational outcomes.
What you’ll do
Data Governance and Compliance:
- Support the development and ongoing enhancement of the People and Culture data governance framework, contributing to the implementation of controls that uphold data quality, security, and accessibility.
- Collaborate in defining and maintaining standards and processes that align with internal policies and external regulatory obligations.
- Assist in ensuring people data is managed in accordance with privacy and compliance requirements, with clear ownership and accountability across the data lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks related to data integrity, compliance, or reporting accuracy, ensuring they are considered and managed appropriately.
- Champion a culture of compliance by completing and promoting mandatory training and embedding risk awareness into reporting and analytics practices.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Lead the uplift of analytics capability across People & Culture, establishing a scalable and commercially relevant reporting framework that supports strategic decision making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and metrics tailored to stakeholder groups (Board, Executive, Leaders), enabling visibility into key people metrics and trends.
- Deliver insights that mitigate people risks and inform workforce planning, talent strategies, and organisational performance.
- Implement a structured cadence of reporting and insights to demonstrate the impact of data informed actions and track progress over time.
- Build organisational capability in people analytics through education, enablement, and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as the subject matter expert for analytics platforms, driving adoption and continuous improvement of reporting tools such as Power BI and Oracle Fusion.
- Support predictive modelling efforts across attrition, talent, succession, inclusion, and diversity, embedding advanced analytics into business rhythm.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous validation processes and continuously improve reporting quality and relevance.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance P&C processes through data-led solutions and automation.
- Assist with annual performance and remuneration processes and support with the labour model and budgeting activities.
- Collaborate with the wider P&C team on delivering relevant regulatory and external reporting requirements (i.e. WGEA).
What you’ll bring
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Data Science or Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strategic leadership in people analytics, with a proven ability to embed data led decision making across an organisation.
- Expertise in developing and implementing data governance frameworks that ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in data analysis and presentation and designing and delivering enterprise employee data solutions
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights at all levels
- Experience in reporting and insights, including deploying automation and predictive models and building analytical capability and maturity in others.
- Experience in deploying automation and predictive models to enhance reporting and decision making.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and partner across People and Culture, Technology and divisions.
