Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Treatment Nurse / Wound Care provides nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and under standards of nursing practices and regulations administers medications and treatments, measures vital signs and weight, and adheres to regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Ability to run the Skin system completely independently while maintaining good communication with DON.

· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written.

· Maintains current professional Texas LPN or RN license.

· Maintains current CPR and first aid certification.

· Meets state health-related requirements.

· Ability to work in a team setting and be a team player.

· Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

· Ability to work under time constraints and meet department deadlines.

· Ability to follow and adhere to policies, procedures, and standards.
