Senior Software Engineer, Security and Privacy, Pixel Phone

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 5 years of experience working on embedded or phone security design and development.
• Experience in authentication, encryption, certificate management, or operating system security.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience working on embedded or phone security design and development.
• 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• Experience with boot and runtime firmwares such as Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A), Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI), Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI), etc.
• Experience with open source development and familiar with the security development life cycle.
• Familiarity with CPU architectures (ARM, RISC-V, x86, MIPs, etc.).

• Work on next generation Pixel security designs and projects.
• Harden low-level system software components critical to Pixel security.
• Research design and develop security features for future Pixel devices.
• Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with upstream open source software projects.
