About the Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Capital Markets Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in overseeing and enhancing our lending operations and financial strategies. The right candidate for this role possesses a deep understanding of capital markets, risk assessment, and a passion for contributing to our vision of redefining lending services.

Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of the lending market, including trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement capital markets strategies that align with our company's goals.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate the portfolio risks and pricing and recommend risk mitigation or portfolio optimization strategies.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage lending portfolios, sharing strategies to impact risk and return of our originated assets.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support lending decisions and assess their impact on our portfolio of originations.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports on the performance of lending portfolios and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, operations, and legal teams to streamline asset funding and distribution processes and enhance efficiency.
- Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with investors to strengthen our market presence.
Requirements
- Master’s degree required in Finance, Economics, or a related field with a focus on capital markets.
- Proven post-graduate experience in capital markets, asset management, or lending within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
- In-depth understanding of financial instruments, underwriting principles, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of lending regulations, industry compliance standards, and financial market operations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, SQL, etc.).
- Ability to analyze large datasets and extract key insights tailored to different audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to connect and contextualize data points to produce actionable business insights.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Results-driven with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
