Payroll Accountant, APAC

How You Will Contribute:

As payroll accountant, you will report to the Supervisor Payroll of APAC and be responsible for:

• Processing of APAC region monthly payroll and collaborating with outsourced payroll vendors
• Co-ordinate with treasury and AP team to ensure payment are processed in a timely manner
• Handle the accounting for payroll and reconciliation of payroll accounts
• Adheres to company defined control procedures and prepares document under audit review
• Available to work in the Hong Kong Time Zone
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management

The Must Have:

• Well-organized and conscientious with a high level of initiatives at work and able to meet tight working deadlines.
• Good command in English
• Degree holder in Commerce is must
• Minimum 1 year of APAC regional experience with MNC, must have experience in preparing journal entries and payroll reconciliations
• Experience in handling Australia and New Zealand payroll is highly preferred
• Experience in working with outsourced payroll vendor (ADP) is preferred
• Experience in using accounting software (Oracle) is preferred
• Experience in using HR management software (Workday) is preferred
