Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility maintaining CSS Fossil ST CM&U Design Standards, HMI Screens and SW Library and associated NPI activities.
• Take lead for addressing issues and driving continuous improvements where there is a significant backlog.
• Drive supporting processes for delivery of design standards/templates and SW library for project execution
• Support project execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required.
• Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification, productivity and efficiency.
• Support integration of standards & processes across Gas Power Engineering Organization
• Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting.
• Travel to customer sites as and when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Instrumentation/Controls discipline or equivalent from a local or internationally recognized university is a must
• At least 8 years of experience in Controls Applications development, NPI and lifecycle management of SW and/or application standards\ 
• Strong negotiation and collaboration skills with internal/external stakeholders and cross functional exposure in global environment with sourcing, manufacturing, project management, sales, and services to ensure our internal users and customers are satisfied with engineering deliverables.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, self-motivation to proactively gather feedback and drive continuous improvement, strong ability and experience of mentoring other engineers within business and/or partners.
• Hands-on Expertise on Controls & HMI applications development is essential. Exposure to Mark VIe platform is desired.
• Willingness to do domestic & international short travel as needed
