Position Overview:
ServiceUp is looking for a Program Manager, Insurance to own and scale relationships with our insurance partners. This role will serve as the critical bridge between ServiceUp’s internal teams and our insurance customers, ensuring smooth claims operations, strategic expansion, and exceptional service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier partners across all active markets
  • Oversee the lifecycle of open repair orders, ensuring alignment with internal teams including Service Advisors, Field Ops, Product, and Marketing
  • Lead resolution of partner escalations by delivering real-time, creative solutions
  • Track key performance metrics (e.g. cycle time, approval delays, supplement frequency) to identify inefficiencies and drive partner performance reviews.
  • Lead onboarding of new insurance partners—develop playbooks, train stakeholders, and ensure systems and workflows are aligned.
  • Create and implement SOPs to improve claim accuracy, cycle time, and customer satisfaction
  • Answer technical and procedural questions related to vehicles, services, repairs, and insurance processes
  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand insurance partner offerings and markets

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years in auto claims, preferably within P&C or Commercial lines
  • Strong knowledge of claims adjudication processes and insurance regulatory frameworks
  • Experience using industry-standard claims management systems and appraisal tools (e.g., CCC, Mitchell,Guidewire, Zendesk, Origami etc)
  • Excellent communication skills with an analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Auto repair knowledge and hands-on experience with estimates and vehicle evaluations, total loss handling practices 
  • Bonus: Experience in fast-paced startup environments
