Full Time

We are seeking a Senior Designer to lead Electrical Design for data center projects and equipment development for domestic and international projects. This individual will have excellent coordination skills in Revit for above grade and below grade systems to support the data center. The candidate will be skilled at managing 2-3 team members in the design of data center and electrical equipment skids. Coordination of Revit and Solidworks models with other trade partners and mitigating clashes is a must. The candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills. Documentation of processes will be required along with training team members to achieve project and company goals. The ideal candidate brings a balance of design sensibility, construction expertise, and a strong understanding of project management, budget control, and risk mitigation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Advise leadership on project feasibility, phasing, and design alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Guide the development of design concepts, ensuring they meet functional requirements, brand standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a liaison between architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Help define and evolve design and construction standards, incorporating innovation and best practices.
  • Provide reports to leadership on project status, key milestones, resource usage, and potential issues.
  • Develop process for evaluating team members and training program to align resources and maximize efficiency.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in design and construction, including leadership roles on large-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction methodologies, project management tools, and contract administration
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects across different regions or sectors
  • Expert in Revit, Solidworks, Navisworks, Microsoft Office, Oracle Primavera
