Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Following all safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work without close supervision.
- Understand the process of unloading rail cars while following all following safety rules.
- Understand the pelletizing line.
- Operate cardboard baler machine.
- Operate dust collector.
- Accurately complete all paperwork as required by ISO, GMP, HACCP.
- Inspect work for accuracy, completeness, and professional look.
- Ensuring correct material, packaging supplies and quality control tools are being used.
- Producing labels for gaylords.
- Proper and Safe forklift operation
- Change over grinder and cleaning out blower.
- Knowledge of correct screen for different materials and or sizes.
- Moving and stacking of gaylords or plastic crates in the proper manner.
- Authorized LOTO (Lock-out/Tag-Out) procedures.
- Keeping scrap sorted and keeping scrap area orderly.
- Covering production lines for breaks.
- Basic trouble-shooting.
- Participation in monthly inventory.
- Provide training when needed or as needed to team members.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills
Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating instructions and procedure manuals and manufacturing terminology. Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports. Ability to follow and understand verbal instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to other employees of the organization and respond to questions.
Mathematics Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percentages to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
