(Junior) Site Reliability Engineer (all genders)

As a Site Reliability Engineer (all genders), your mission is to help maintain and further develop our internal self-service platform. This platform enables our development teams to deploy, monitor, and scale their applications efficiently - while upholding the highest standards of security, and reliability.

Du Bist Verantwortlich FüR / You Are Responsible For:

• You are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a reliable and secure cloud infrastructure that forms the backbone of our applications and services
• You play a crucial role as a key enabler between development and operations, ensuring smooth collaboration 
• You take ownership of evaluating and integrating new technologies to continuously improve system efficiency and security 

Das Bringst Du Mit / That'S What You Bring To The Table:

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field, and bring 2-5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related role
• You have practical experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS (particularly services like EKS, RDS, EC2) and you’ve worked with Terraform 
• You can write and maintain code in Go (preferred), or may also have experience with JavaScript or Python
• You have experience in at least two of the following: Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting, Postgres, Prometheus, Grafana, NATS JetStream
• You are fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level) and can communicate clearly
• You bring strong problem-solving skills, a proactive, hands-on approach, and a passion for continuous learning, taking ownership, and working in a collaborative environment
• Ideally, you have a passion for modern security principles and/or hands-on experience implementing compliance frameworks

Deine Meilensteine Bei Uns / Your Milestones With Us:

• Within 3 months, you will complete your onboarding and begin taking on tasks with the support and guidance of your teammates
• Within 6 months at collect.AI, you will take ownership of smaller projects, still collaborating closely with your team for support and feedback
• Within 12 months, you will lead larger initiatives independently, driving key topics and contributing as a fully integrated member of the team
