Position Overview:

Twin Eagles by Dometic is looking to add a Grinder to its growing team! This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor. The Grinder I grinds and polishes stainless steel parts by hand or using pneumatic or electric powered hand tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Requires preparation and set up of all polishing equipment within the department.
Grinds, buffs, and polishes various metal parts with handheld, pneumatic and large machinery while maintaining grain direction.
Select proper contact wheel abrasive belts, buff, lea or color wheels on handheld, pneumatic and large machinery.
Removes burrs and sharp edges from parts.
Blend surface to match the finishes of parts.
Inspect the quality of the welding on parts for flaws or cracks.
Use hammer, chisel, and stamping tool to flatten welded parts If necessary.
Measure and mark objects or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met.
Proficient in polishing shape metal. (Front panels, landing ledges, handles, and doors).
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Sheet metal grinding experience preferred.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to use and wear personal protective equipment.
