What are we looking for?

Provider onboarding is a critical function for BetterHelp's success. It encompasses the stage post-credentialing until the provider is fully activated on our platform and ready to transition to Customer Experience for ongoing support. The Provider Onboarding Associate will work directly with providers during this stage to ensure they are moving quickly and getting their needs addressed. The Provider Onboarding Associate will think creatively about ways to interact with providers and meet their needs. This role is on the Operations team and reports directly to our Senior Manager of Provider Growth.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with credentialing and provider acquisition to move providers efficiently to go live and adding hours in order to meet goals of converting credentialed providers to live
  • Partner with the Senior Manager to pilot performance improvement projects (i.e. A/B test outreach to increase conversion and improved flows to decrease time to go live) and other projects as directed
  • Partner with technology, data, and marketings teams to translate ideas into actionable activities to improve provider acquisition
  • Call, text and email with Providers to encourage their activation and growth
  • Communicate with internal and external behavioral health providers around optimal profile and scheduling initiatives 
  • Work on other process improvement projects as directed

  • You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
  • You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in a operations role in an early-stage technology, healthcare or similar environment 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, 
  • Incredibly empathetic with strong active listening skills, yet able to maintain appropriate boundaries
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Data driven with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights
  • Experience working in Google Sheets & Customer Service Tools, e.g. Intercom, Kustomer

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements): Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors – including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
