Overall objectives

•Define and govern the enterprise infrastructure and cloud architecture to ensure scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.

•Enable secure, compliant, and high-performing hybrid cloud environments that support business agility and innovation.

•Drive modernization of infrastructure platforms, network, and compute through cloud-native and automation-first strategies.

•Align infrastructure architecture with enterprise standards, security frameworks, and operational requirements.

•Foster a culture of architectural discipline, reusability, and continuous improvement across infrastructure domains.

•Define and maintain the infrastructure and cloud architecture blueprint.

•Lead the design of scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.

•Govern cloud adoption, migration, and optimization strategies across domains.

•Collaborate with platform, security, and delivery teams to ensure architectural alignment.

•Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and performance engineering initiatives.

General functional responsibilities

•Define and maintain the infrastructure and cloud architecture blueprint.

•Lead the design of scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.

•Govern cloud adoption, migration, and optimization strategies across domains.

•Collaborate with platform, security, and delivery teams to ensure architectural alignment.

•Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and performance engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

Core competencies required

• Infrastructure Architecture Expertise – Deep knowledge of compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and data center design.
• Cloud Architecture Mastery – Experience with public, private, and hybrid cloud models (Azure, AWS, OCI), including IaaS, PaaS, and container platforms.
• Security & Compliance Awareness – Understanding of cloud security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and operational risk.
• Automation & DevOps – Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
• Enterprise Integration – Ability to align infrastructure with application, data, and business architecture domains.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Strong collaboration with engineering, operations, security, and architecture governance teams.
• Overall 15 years on banking technology experience is desirable
