The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for administering the daily operations of 3M’s global stock plans, the Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) and the General Employee Stock Purchase Plan (GESPP).
You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Daily equity transactions
- Monthly employee stock purchases
- Quarterly dividends processing
- Stock granting and vesting activities
- Systems maintenance
- Call Center escalations & material maintenance
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university
- One (1) year of experience in Human Resources, Finance and/or Accounting in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business with Finance or Accounting from an accredited university
- Minimum one (1) year experience in Compensation or other Human Resources function
- Advanced Excel skills in data manipulation – pivot tables, V-lookups, advance-filters – to perform audits, reconciliations, and complex calculations
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Proven analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail orientation, systems and critical thinking
- Project management, organization and prioritization skills
- Ability grasp accounting, tax, finance and legal concepts
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic travel
Relocation: Is not authorized
