Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Assistant to join our awesome team. The ideal candidate has to be confident and comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, client education, properly handling and restraining animals, drawing blood and running bloodwork, familiar with x-ray and proper positioning, placing IV catheters, using laboratory equipment and has to have a positive team-player attitude. If you are a Veterinary Technician looking to take your skills and knowledge to the next level and work with a great team, then we are excited to hear from you.

Requirements:

1+ years of veterinary experience
Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
Passion for working with animals and their owners
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Positive team player willing to continue to learn
