We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic, and passionate Business Manager to drive our growth in Malaysia. This is your opportunity to lead a high-impact commercial role, shape market strategies, and build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and consumers.

The Opportunity

Cochlear now has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Manager to drive the growth of our Malaysia business as part of the wider Asia Growth Markets (AGM) team. The Business Manager is responsible for developing and executing on the country strategy and plans to achieve strong business outcomes. 

Working in partnership with the Country Manager, the Busines Manager will support the development and execution of our business model, aligning with the market and business growth opportunities locally.  You will do this by managing our product portfolio across all areas of the product lifecycle and helping to shape policies that increase awareness and access to our life changing products.

This is a diverse and busy role, but don’t worry you won’t be alone, you will work with our local distributor, key industry professionals, recipients as well as our local and global teams to deliver against our ambitious plans.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Country Strategy: Develop and execute marketing, sales, and distribution plans to meet revenue and market share goals.

• Drive Professional Engagement: Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals to support clinical outcomes and product adoption.

• Champion Consumer Activation: Create innovative campaigns to raise awareness and fast-track patient journeys to Cochlear Implant surgery.

• Manage Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with distributors and partners to deliver business objectives and ensure seamless operations.

• Inspire and Lead: Coach and develop a high-performing team, aligning them with Cochlear’s vision and values.

What You Bring

• A degree in medicine, science, biotech, bioengineering, business, or marketing.

• Proven success in commercial operations and distribution management within the medical device or healthcare industry.

• Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and leadership skills.

• Experience in direct-to-consumer marketing and stakeholder engagement

• Fluent English communication skills and a passion for making a difference.
