The Position:

FanDuel Sports Network is looking for an experienced Coordinating Producer to join the Production team. Reporting to the VP, Production, this position will be responsible for working directly with the Production VPs and production team members on live event and studio production for a variety of FDSN’s NBA, NHL, and MLB teams. There will be heavy emphasis on content creation, driving editorial oversight and providing consistent and constructive feedback to production teams and talent. The Coordinating Producer will also take an active role within budget planning, sponsorship integrations, and relationship management for teams and organizations.

This is a hybrid position and there is preference for candidates based in St. Louis, MO, Cleveland, OH, Atlanta, GA, and Marina Del Rey, CA.

The Game Plan:
(What you will do)

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of studio shows, event telecasts, and live games and events, including driving editorial content.
  • Ensure high level of production quality by providing consistent feedback to producers, directors, and talent.
  • Assist in budget planning for assigned shows and events and negotiate contracts with studio and remote talent and production staff.
  • Serve as the FanDuel Sports Network representative for team partners, including fielding content, access, and programming requests.
  • Meet with team partners regularly to foster positive relationships.
  • Organize and distribute personnel schedules for production and talent.
  • Participate in weekly sport planning and feedback meetings.
  • Share best practices with other Coordinating Producers through conversations, video clips, and reports.
     

The Stats:
(What to bring)

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in sports television production, including previous production and people management experience.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the action sports industry and key industry contacts required.
  • Working knowledge of production remote truck operations and technologies required.
  • Working knowledge of non-linear editing systems required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, including a demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills required.
  • Efficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Expectation to frequently be onsite at game locations (home and road), as determined by the VP, Production.
  • 20 – 30% travel required.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a producer or director of live remote sports events.

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual base compensation range for this role is $140K - $160K.  Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
