Overview
Generates, develops and services school and government agency sales to assure achievement of annual sales goals, along with administrative and company interpersonal responsibilities.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides and assures maximum sales across all categories of A-dec products within the assigned territory through effective sales activities, through frequent communication, and following A-dec best practices.
- Creates business plans with the Director, Institutional Sales to be used as the blueprint for the year and serves as a basis for prioritizing sales support efforts.
- Conducts quarterly business review meetings with Domestic TMs in their territory.
- Supports accurate forecast by managing opportunities through Client Relations Management (CRM) system and School & Government forecasting in SharePoint.
- Provides for consistency and compliance within A-dec's policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates exceptional business acumen while protecting A-dec’s financial interests.
- Provides current field intelligence used to develop and write product specifications for installations. Builds relationships with stakeholders such as school administrators and government officials introducing company product line and advantages.
- Contributes to school and government customer relations through prompt and accurate communications, commitments and follow-up. Provides a high level of customer satisfaction and service by recommending product design and application concepts. Demonstrates exceptional business acumen while protecting A-dec’s financial interests.
- Offers consultation services to architectural firms and construction project managers and superintendents, while collaborating with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) contractors on-site to ensure that utility configurations are accurately installed for the correct installation of A-dec products.
- Actively listens to customers to understand their needs and concerns and provides solutions that address their needs. Cultivates positive interactions to foster future sales opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be able to travel on a regular basis within the assigned territory, with some travel required outside of the territory.
- Excellent ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Excellent ability to organize and manage time and resources effectively.
- Proficiency in presentation systems and comfortable presenting information to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well in a team environment.
- Must reside in the territory.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of five years account management experience in the dental industry is preferred. This is to include, but not limited to, working with the dental distribution network.
- Familiarity with and understanding of the North American Dental Distribution system.
