Senior People Experience Advisor
Reporting to: Senior People Experience Partner
Key Stakeholders: Site Clerical Team, Business Lead Teams, HRBP, People Experience Partner, HR Services Team and broader HR Community.
Overview
You will be responsible for delivering employee experience (operational) objectives and processes. Serve as the primary HR contact for country and practice stakeholders, facilitating communication and management of annual HR activities. Oversee the entire employment lifecycle, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation and benefits
- Ensure employment contracts align with government reimbursement caps.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to administer payroll, housing, medical, and education benefits according to the latest guidelines.
- Manage employee compensation claims as needed.
People communication and engagement
- Serve as the liaison between site staff and management.
- Address staff inquiries and support overall staff well-being.
- Communicate policy updates and site-specific instructions in a timely manner.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of employment, training, and performance.
- Submit necessary reports to government departments or consultants as required.
Employment Management (Recruitment, Transfer & Extension)
- Collaborate with project managers to assess manpower requirements, ensuring alignment with the project's approved manpower structure, as defined by the project team and endorsed by the government department or client.
- Support recruitment, transfer and extension processes in accordance with the RSS Management Handbook.
- Ensure staff qualifications and experience meet standards set by the Development Bureau.
- Support the documents preparation and tracking of the status.
Performance & Compliance Monitoring
- Act as the liaison for the Scheme A training program, coordinating training arrangements for graduate engineers participating in the scheme.
- Maintain performance records and conduct appraisals using the standard RSS performance report format.
- Ensure staff complete all required safety and integrity training.
- Manage declarations related to conflicts of interest and criminal records.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business related discipline.
- 3-5 years of HR operations experience, preferably in construction and engineering sectors.
- Familiarity with Hong Kong’s public works employment standards and the RSS Management Handbook will be a plus
- Well versed in HK Employment Ordinance and other related regulation.
- Independent, well-organized, with strong communication and inter-personal skills.
- Good team player with commitment to quality work and tight schedule.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese.
- Complete mastery of computer skills, such as Excel and PowerPoint
