WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US
At SimCorp, we are expanding our SaaS Delivery team to support the continued growth of our cloud-based Regulatory Reporting Platform. We are seeking a Principal Business Consultant with deep expertise in investment management software and extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks to help ensure our platform remains compliant with evolving global regulations.
This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team of experts who combine regulatory insight with technical excellence in SimCorp Dimension. Together, we deliver innovative solutions to our global client base, helping them stay ahead of regulatory trends and requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Lead and coordinate a team of Subject Matter Experts, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Continuously improve work processes to enhance efficiency and align with SimCorp’s strategic goals.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Support business development by preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and demos.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of regulatory services for SimCorp Dimension clients.
- Implement and maintain configuration solutions for European financial institutions and asset managers.
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of SimCorp’s Regulatory Reporting Platform.
WHAT WE VALUE
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a consultancy or IT role within the financial services industry.
- Extensive knowledge of EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, or similar regulatory regimes.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory texts (laws, guidelines, technical standards).
- Demonstrated ability to bridge business requirements with technical implementation.
- Demonstrated skills in communication, presentation, and managing relationships with stakeholders.
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset with an interest in knowledge sharing and coaching.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience working in a globally distributed organization.
- Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension or similar investment/asset management platforms.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies, scripting languages, XML, and APIs.
- Experience in designing, testing, and implementing financial systems.
