ABOUT THE ROLE

As an essential part of the team at MESHKI, a Warehouse Assistant in our Returns Department plays a crucial role in supporting efficient stock management, secure operations, and effective cross-departmental collaboration. You will play a key role within the inventory team, communicating closely with departments such as Dispatch, Returns, and Production. This position requires individuals to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring strong attention to detail.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

● Inspect returned garments for defects, damages, and signs of wear

● Verify that returned items match the return authorisation details

● Accurately document the condition of returned items and update inventory records

● Sort garments based on their condition for restocking, refurbishment, or disposal

● Ensure all quality checks and procedures comply with company standards

● Collaborate with other warehouse team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment

● Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including packing, shipping, and receiving

● Assist with deliveries; receiving/processing stock

● Moving stock into pick locations

● Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

● Prior experience in a warehouse; logistics or retail environment preferred

● Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet daily KPIs

● Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand or sit for extended periods

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy

● Excellent organisational skills

● Basic computer skills

● Team player with good communication skills

● Availability Monday to Friday (Fridays a must), 8am-4pm

This position will be based at our MESHKI Distribution Centre located in Turella. We are seeking immediately available Casuals who are looking for an ongoing Casual role!
